Thoughtful Design = Lots of Possibilities!

Each card contains a word, the definition of that word, five examples of what that word looks like in action, and a question that can help encourage reflection.

Because these cards are made out of waterproof plastic card stock, participants can use ‘wet-erase’ markers to make notes, check off behaviors and then wipe them clean when they are done. This can encourage group observation, self assessment, and specific and accurate goal setting.

Each card is hexagonal in shape with small bee and hexagon icons. While these icons are not designed to mean one specific thing, they allow facilitator creativity for arranging and organizing the cards. The hexagonal shape means that cards can be grouped, stacked, or chained to allow users to build meaning around important topics.

Every card has a Buzzword bee that includes a QR Code to a reference page about that topic. These pages contain the information from the card as well as other information to allow users to discuss the card in greater depth.

Additionally, these QR codes can be used within the facilitator app to lookup card content, brainstorm activities and create savable lists to remember what buzzwords are selected by which group, family, client or student!
